Our role included providing project management, health & safety management, and auditing as various phases of the facility were completed and handed back to the client.

This project required a combination of H&S expertise, project oversight, and specialist engineering services to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of a modern manufacturing facility.

Scope of Works

Project & H&S Management

• Supplied SMSTS, SSSTS, and NEBOSH certified project managers and H&S managers to oversee contractors, client engineering teams, and in-house staff.
• Liaised with the principal contractor on overlapping areas of the development.
• Delivered site plans, access equipment inspections, and reporting to maintain compliance and safety standards.

Turnkey Engineering Works

Smart CI Group delivered a full turnkey solution for several key aspects of the manufacturing plant:

• Control systems installation: Designed, installed, and connected containment wiring and control systems for two tile manufacturing lines.
• Mechanical engineering support: Provided skilled engineers to assist with the installation of client-supplied machinery.
• Fabrication services: Supplied mobile-equipped fabricators to complete on-site installation of machinery.
• HVAC installation: Installed complete heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for welfare blocks and workshop areas.
• Heating systems: Delivered mechanical installation and plant room formation for a matrix heating system, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
