Fire Protection

The correct selection and the installation of fire stopping systems as tested are critical to ensure that the required fire protection of the fire compartment elements is maintained.

There are many types of fire stopping, and the choice depends on a range of factors including type of service and their location within an opening, the size of the opening and the load-bearing requirement, gaps or linear gap between elements etc. For instance, the required fire rating achieved at the point of service penetration through a block-work wall may not be achieved for a dry lined wall, so the importance of understanding the ability of each firestopping system is. Fire Door Installation

The correct installation of a fire doorset requires a clear understanding of the role played by each individual component. It is essential that all fire doorsets are installed by a professionally trained installer.

In accordance with our partner supplier accreditations, we provide our clients with full certification therefore providing assurance that all work has been carried out according to the manufacturer’s instructions and/or installed to BS8214:2008.

Fire Door Inspection

Our Fire Door Inspection service provides a detailed inventory and written maintenance inspection report of all your Fire and Exit doors using our latest data collection technology software. Where necessary, the service includes a full rectification report outlining the defects and faults with your fire doors. An identification label is attached to each fire door providing a unique numbering system for data referencing and demonstrating to the users of the building that the doors have been surveyed professionally.
