Electrical Engineer

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent

Salary: £36k – £40k dependent upon experience

The Smart CI Group are actively seeking commercial/industrial electricians for a large increase in demand for projects and maintenance roles in Kent and the South East.

We are a friendly and fast growing provider of commercial industrial services, with a wide variety of customers, offering varied and interesting works.

Within this role you will be required to undertake the following:

To install new electrical systems to client standards and to maintain those whilst upholding safety guidelines and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial and industrial electrical systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring.

Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and industrial electrical systems, and ensure installations are to manufacturer’s standards.

Following statutory and company policies and procedures to ensure safe working practices in line with HSE legislation.

We are looking for people who:

  • Are smart & well presented.
  • Are punctual.
  • Have the ability to work independently using own initiative.
  • Have good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Have a full UK driving licence.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
  • City & Guilds 2382-18 – 18th Edition
  • Experience reading and understanding drawings and specifications.
